It’s that moment that you realize it might be possible… with thru-hiking season getting started, a lot of us are taking a hard look at our goals right now. Those goals you’re not guaranteed – the ones you have to put yourselves out for.
In today’s episode, we check back in with a man with a big goal – to ski 2.5 million vertical feet in 2016. We met Aaron Rice in Episode 27, at the very beginning of his year-long effort. Take a listen to find out how it went and why he did it.
Find out more about Aaron on his website.
Also, we have officially put out the call for 2017 trail correspondents! If you’re interested, find out how to apply HERE.

March 30, 2017 at 10:15 amGreat interview! This is my first time commenting… I want to say that I love your podcast, when I discovered it I binged on every episode in the archives. It helps me stay inspired. I love your style and also Kimchi’s — what would it take to get her back on the trail interviewing more folks this summer??

September 19, 2018 at 5:45 pmIf you’re here wondering what happened to the show, or if Gizmo is alive, fear not. Today is Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2018. I was able to track “Hey Gorl” down, and she told me the following… Gizmo is alive. “Shes an awesome person who gave time to her personal life last year, she bought a house, started a new job etc.”Weare working on producing a few more episodes from lots of old audio last year.” Thats literally all I have.
